Whiteboard View is a canvas where you can create various diagrams, brainstorm ideas and convert these diagrams into real work later:

There are quite many use cases, but the most typical is creating some kind of work hierarchy. Above we decomposed some work using boxes and arrows. 

Convert Boxes into Entities

Now you want to convert this into real work. You can select a box and convert it into Initiative, for example:

Group selection and batch actions

You can select several items at once and do some actions:

Insert Entities as Cards

Quite often you already have some work and want to see it on a Whiteboard View. You can add Cards easily. Find Insert a card action in bottom menu: 

Note that you can quickly open any card as full entity using double click.

Colors & Borders

You can set colors and borders for shapes to make them more visually appealing (or less).
